Egbert Charles is the managing director of Marintek St Lucia, he is a trained electric engineer and electronics. Is a VOLVO and Northern Light factory trained technician.

Egbert Charles is fluent in Spanish and French and is a member of Spanish yacht networks such as La vuela dos navegantes. He is as well a radio amateur.

He is a sailor who did cross the Atlantic many times on different boats. He sailed in Mediterranean - Greece, Italy, Spain… and know the Caribbean from USA to Venezuela very well. He has many years of experience as skipper: ask him about sailing with royalty…

Egbert has spent this winter building a fabulous shop. Egbert's investment in his diagnostic tools and relationships with the major vendors will serve you well when it comes time to service your boat. These relationships consist of more than just a sticker in the window - Egbert has factory training, diagnostic tools and equipment plus access to parts. Egbert has on-line documentation and search facilities and computerized diagnostic tools.
